About

The ruins of an ancient Phoenician, Carthaginian, and Roman city (c. 12th century BC), located on a hilltop across the Loukkos River. It features remains of temples, Roman baths, mosaics, and an old fish-salting factory. It is famously linked to the myth of the Garden of the Hesperides.
